Title: Outgoing landline caller-id using GV and OBI110
Post by: gerry on February 19, 2013, 05:29:08 PM
Hi,

I had this set up correctly at one time but now I can't remember what I did. I still maintain my landline, with minimal service (measured rate - i.e. local calls only). I want my outgoing calls to use GV, but display my landline # (I have an OBI110). My GV number is a local number. I think what I had set up is an outgoing call originating with the landline but going through GV (i.e. I don't think it required spoofing, but I'm not sure). If anyone has any pointers I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Gerry

It can not be done...... at least not both free and seamless.
Simple option.  Dial your own Google Voice number then make the call out.

Simple option + equipment.  Get a prepaid calling card auto dialer to dial Google Voice for you and make the call out.
