Title: I would LOVE to see a way to import contacts to the speed dial feature.
Post by: Phillip on February 26, 2013, 12:53:56 PM
Guess the subject line says it all.  ;)

Google is being very obtuse about exporting contacts, which is why I enter them on my Android. GV has become a 'black hole'. Once they pass the event horizon, there is no retrieving them. However, I can export them from my phone. OK. Rant over.  :D

Anyway, I have contact info from multiple sources. Sure would be nice if I could be the name and number fields into my Obi!

A tool could be created to parse the contact data and put it into a xml cfg file the Obi could load.  Then you could use the restore configuration to upload it to the Obi.  This can be done without help from ObiHai.  If ObiHai were willing to host the tool it could be added to the web portal.  That would be a nice feature.
