Title: Blocking inbound SIP calls
Post by: Gavo on February 28, 2013, 11:36:16 PM
In the scenario where an Obi110 is used purely for making outgoing SIP calls (all incoming is via PSTN) can you block (or redirect to a black hole) incoming calls destined for SP1 (or both SP1 & 2) ?

Regards

In Voice Services > SPx Service > X_InboundCallRoute  {?:}
or you can redirect all inbound calls to any number using {?:1xxxxxxxxxx} for example {?:18005551212}

Thanks for such a quick answer.

Now that I've solved the unwanted spammy sip calls would this also work for "sipvicious" / hacking calls ? i.e. your phone just ringing for no reason apart from it being triggered to ring by an attempted hacking ?

Cheers

Gavin

This only blocks anonymous calls:
In Voice Services > SPx Service > X_InboundCallRoute  {?:}

To block all calls this rule is needed:
In Voice Services > SPx Service > X_InboundCallRoute  {@|?:}

To simply stop the phones ringing for incoming SIP calls, this seems to work well:
In Voice Services > SPx Service > X_InboundCallRoute  {}
