Title: "No Line" on telephone device

Everything looks to be set up correctly... GV account ok, OBi100 (green lights)....was able to connect to Obi box to do firmware update via obi portal, so it can connect out, and can use Obi app on ipad to make calls via wifi....

But my phone says "No Line".....wondering if the rj11 cable is bad? I just bought it but seems highly unusual for a new phone cable to be a dud. Is there a difference using a phone through an obi vs. the obi app on ipad that might explain it?
