Title: Force Calls to number to use line
Post by: tom827 on March 20, 2013, 03:06:26 PM
I currently have my system setup to use the line port for default for calls, and I can dial calls via Google Voice using **1 before the number.

I have a few numbers that I'd like to automatically have go through SP1 (Google Voice) when dialed. What's the best way to do this?

The easiest way is to setup Speed Dial Numbers.

SD number 10 = sp1(4805551212)

Then dial 10#

Thanks for the fast response!

I thought about doing that, but I'm setting this up for my parents, and it would be easier if they could continue dialing the old way instead of memorizing new speed dial codes (if I setup speed dial codes, no one would end up using them).

Add the following to the beginning of your Phone OutboundCallRoute:

{(1?4801234560|1?4801234561|<602>1234567):sp1},

<602>1234567 is for 7 digit dialing. Replace 602 with your local area code.
