Title: Question about the OBi device number
Post by: iNickster on March 26, 2013, 07:11:20 PM
Right now I have an Obi110, and I am think about updating to the OBi202. If I do that is it possible to keep the same OBi device number that was on my OBi110, and switch it to the OBi202?

The number that's printed on the bottom? Doubtful. You can ask Obihai though.

If you migrate to the Obi 202 which is purely VOIP you are giving up the PSTN capability that your Obi 110 has.

Depending on your interest level -- or level of tolerance for -- modifying several settings you can have an Obi110 and an Obi202 and 'connect' them to each other, such that you pick up a handset on an Obi202, and make a call through the PSTN line on the Obi110.

It's called single stage dialing, reply back to get pointed in the right direction.
