Title: obi100 GV loss of outgoing quality
Post by: arobbert on March 27, 2013, 10:03:38 AM
My obi100 with GV (via Ethernet) has worked fine until the past few days. The incoming quality is good but the outgoing is choppy or garbled. I tried the following:

I have re-booted the obi100, Modem/router. No improvement
Connected obi100 directly to Modem/router. No improvement
Tried another obi100. No improvement
Tried another phone. No improvement

Below are the results from my Voip Test

Jitter to server  .3 ms
Jitter from server .2 ms
Packet loss to server 0
Packet loss from server .4%
Packet discards 0
Packet out of order 0
Mos score 3.7

Any suggestions?

That is a problem, and could cause choppyness.

That is a problem, and could cause choppiness. Look at your modem signals, and see if you can identify a problem. Characterize that as best you can and then call for service.

It must have been an issue with my ISP. The problem lasted about 24 hrs. and went away.
