Title: 411 (information calls)
Post by: elminakid on April 06, 2011, 07:47:00 AM
Can anyone advise me on what I can do to allow me to call 411 (information) or 311(local non emergency number). I do have GV as my primary and Voip raider for SP2. Currently GV would not allow such calls.

Thanks

Assuming SP1/ITSPA = Google Voice and SP2/ITSPB = VoIP Raider and PrimaryLine = SP1 Service, 311 and 411 through Google Voice could be implemted by adding two rules to the ITSPA DigitMap:

(<311:1aaa1234567>|<411:1aaa1234567>|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)

where 1aaa1234567 is the number you wish to be called when you dial 311 or 411.

411 options would include:

18005551212
18003733411

Thanks RonR

Before I make changes I wanna be sure the following code is correct:

(<311:13127445000>|<411:18005551212>|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)

Im to leave the xxxxxxxx as is?

If your ITSPA DigitMap is different because you've already 'enhanced' it, you can simply add:

<311:13127445000>|<411:18005551212>|

into it.  What I posted was the default value with the above added.
