Title: conference troubles - ideas ?
Post by: Gena700 on May 10, 2013, 11:50:33 AM
Quick search did not return any results, so posting new topic.

I have Obi100 with GV on line 1 and Call Centric, free incoming, on line 2.

Dialing to conference lines (201.94x.xxxx and 646.49x.xxxx) is ok, but after saying name and hitting # I get disconnected.

Dialing conf # from SoftPhone to my Call Centric number - no problems, everything works.

This make me think this is problem with GV, but would like to check if possibly there is some setting on Obi.
Any ideas ?  ???

To eliminate (or print finger at) your Obi, call those conference numbers from the GV talk/call (I forget formal name, is it talk or call) function within a browser GV session.

Do you still get the disconnect?

It is resolved now, but unexpectedly: I had another issue, where accepted call waiting call would have  disable audio.

Anyhow, I found recommendation on forum to change KeepAliveInterval parameter (ITSP Profile A/B RTP) from default 0 (never) to 5 (seconds).
Save, restart obi. This solved conference line drop issue.

But call waiting problem is still there... Will create another post with right subject line.
