Title: How do I require choosing an outbound line?
Post by: TheNatural on May 17, 2013, 09:55:00 PM
I have two google voice accounts configured on my OBi100 and I did not check "Make This the Primary Line to Call Out from" on either of them in the OBi dashboard.  However, if I just pick up the phone and dial a number, it automatically uses sp1 to dial out.  I would like it to be required to push **1 or **2 to choose one of the accounts before dialing a phone number to get out. Is this possible?

The best solution I can think of would be to change your dial plan so calls are routed to a voice gateway you have not set up like VG1.  Then all calls made without selecting an account would fail.

Thanks.  Can you be more detailed? Where is the dial plan setting?

In Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute
Remove rule ,{(Mpli):pli}
This should be the last rule in the OutboundCallRoute
This defines the Primary Line.
When the default Phone Port Primary Line is SP1 the above rule is equivalent to {(Msp1):sp1}
