Title: unable to update my obi100

i just bought an opened box of obi100 from frys. I went through the device configuration process and could make an outgoing call. When I went into the dashboard, it said an update was available. So I clicked on the triangle to initiate automatic update process. It failed. Then I tried manual update process. I dialed **6 and it asked me to hangup to start the update process. Nothing happened. Finally, I tried downloading the update file (the one ending in *.fw) extension, and chrome and internet explorer both said that the page cannot be found.
Can someone please help? Or email me the update file?

I managed to get the update.
However, I am unable to receive any incoming calls on my obi100. I tried all the suggestions on the forum re: Forwarding to google chat, and turning off screening.
I even made calls using google chat.
When someone calls me on my gv number, it forwards to my cell phone, but does not ring on my obi phone.
hope someone can help.

Does that infer that can still make calls?

I managed to solve my problem. I had talkatone app on my ipad.
