Title: OBi100 extreme choppy when I max out my download in FTP
Post by: Syndicat3 on May 29, 2013, 07:30:54 PM
Hi guys,

I'm loving this product so far.

First of all, my internet is 25/2.5 and the OBi100 seems to work great with voip.ms. However, whenever I use BitKinex for segmented ftp downloading (stays around 2.4 MB/s), the phone because unusable because it's so choppy.

In my linksys router, I have the QoS set up so Unstream Bandwidth is auto and the Obi100 Mac address has high priority. I am using the "value" plan, rather than "premium".

What else can I do to try to make it so the OBi100 will always have priority and never get chopped, other than just limiting my download speeds in the FTP program?

Thanks in advance.
