Got to say after having stutter problems on ooma I am feeling good about the switch. I am up and running but have a couple of questions.
Can you use a different VOIP service and still have your google voice caller id when you make calls?

If u do stick with google? are you limited to 3 hrs of talk per call? wouldn't be a problem for me.. but maybe my wife.

It depends on the voip service. Many will let you set the caller id that you wish to use, some will not.
Voip.ms and callwithus are two that I use that will let you set the caller id.
