Title: Firefox 9.0 (Windows) mystery solved
Post by: nlurker on June 16, 2013, 03:34:55 PM
Why does Obi110 identify itself to Google as Firefox 9.0 (Windows)?

I have been worried about who was logging into my Google account from Firefox 9.0 on Windows, and it turns out to be my Obi110.  I thought I had been hacked since I use neither Firefox nor Windows.

Be careful, I wouldn't sign into this link. For a post to be concerned about being hacked, curious that it links to a page requesting a user name and password!

It is the Google page that shows you all logins to your Google account.  It is where you can see Obihai logging in as Firefox 9.0 (Windows).

Does no one have any thoughts on why Obi spoofs as Windows?
