Title: OBi110 + AllInOnePrinter + GVoice - When people fax me they hear my G-voicemail
Post by: HunterT on July 03, 2013, 06:56:19 PM
Hello, here is my setup:

Obi110 -- ethernet cable to router, phone line coming out of the jack that has the telephone picture NOT the one that says Telco. This phone line is going into my AllInOne printer.
Online my Obi110 settings are all setup properly.
My Google Voice settings seem to be setup properly.
I can send and receive fax with no problem to my GVoice #.

The only problem is that when people go to send me fax, their fax machine rings twice, then my GVoicemail starts talking to them, but the fax still goes though to me. Does anyone know how I can prevent my voicemail talking to them when they send?

The same voicemail is actually used when someone calls my cell phone because I have Google Voice set to be my voicemail service on my Galaxy S3.

Maybe the only way this will work is if I completely turn voicemail off in my google voice settings and go back to using my providers voicemail on my cell.

Can anyone please make a recommendation before I do this!

Thanks!
