Title: Uploading recorded prompts
Post by: barnam on August 08, 2013, 04:22:49 PM
Hi (again),
I'm trying to upload a recorded prompt to my 202. Here's what the OBiPLUSTutorial.pdf says about it:
QuoteUpload an audio file to the OBi from the device web page under Voice Services/Auto
Attendants, by clicking the corresponding UserXDescription parameter, for X = 1, ...,
20.
When I go to Voice Services/Auto Attendants (via OBi Expert Configuration), I am shown ten empty fields (corresponding to the ten userXdescriptions) in the "value" column, but, besides unchecking the "OBiTALK Settings" box, the fields will not accept any input.
What am I missing?
Thanks again,

After a quick call to support, it seems that uploading files can't be done remotely from the web site interface, but only through a direct connection via the LAN port of the 202 device itself (browsing to 192.168.10.1, and using admin/admin to login).
I'd say that their documentation could use a bit of an update.
