Title: Use 2 Obi devices on one Google Voice account?
Post by: raquel on September 13, 2013, 03:48:36 AM
Is it possible to use two Obi devices for one GoogleVoice account? I already have an Obi100 setup at the office, but I want to setup one at home as well.

Unfortunately only one "user" or "device" can be logged into a "GoogleChat" account at a time. Be carefull not to log in from your computer or the Obi could get bumped off. That being said you can configure one Obi on a GoogleVoice account and pair it with other Obi's so you can make and receive calls on the one GV account from multiple locations.

Not totally accurate.  On the 100 and 110  models you cannot do it. The Obi202 and Obi3 series devices do implement this feature.  See here (http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0), look for Google Voice Multi-Ring. There's a recent thread -- in the last few days -- on the same topic, and it's interesting to note many people do not know this feature exists.
