Title: Possible to use magicjack for outgoing & incoming + sipgate for incoming?
Post by: randomstuff on April 13, 2011, 10:05:01 PM
is it possible to configure the obi to transparently use magicjack for outgoing all the time and both magicjack and sipgate voip for incoming?  i don't want to have to dial # or something to force it to dial out with magicjack - i just want to configure it to use mj for outgoing all the time.  is that possible?  thanks!

With the Obi110, just plug the MJ into the line port of the Obi. The default setting for outbound calls is the line port.

By default, all incoming calls will ring the phone connected to the Obi.

The default setting for outbound calls is the line port.

How can I change to use line port as the secondary?

You select the default calling port at:

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> PrimaryLine

Then you can select an alternate calling port by prefixing the number with **n:

**1 + number -> SP1 Service
**2 + number -> SP2 Service
**8 + number -> PSTN Line
**9 + number -> OBiTALK Service
