Title: Google Contacts for Caller ID Name
Post by: BrianM on October 16, 2013, 08:22:56 PM
I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here. For people that use Google Voice, it would be nice if we could configure the OBI to display the caller ID name by doing a lookup in our Google Contacts using the incoming number. Almost everyone that calls is already in my contacts. That would save me the trouble of having to duplicate the effort of adding them to my phone's directory. And then doing it all again when I switch out phones.

It would also be nice if the OBI could sync in my Google Contacts and allow me to assign them speed dial positions.

First of all +1 for your recommendation.  I have seen this request a lot.

On another note it would be nice if companies like Callcentric would Sync contacts with Google Voice.  Then we could use Callcentric caller ID to make this work.  I wonder if they have a feature request forum?
