Title: OBI110 Can't receive incoming pots
Post by: AHLEN on October 19, 2013, 07:15:47 AM
I've had GV and OBI110 for about 2 months. Everything was working great - two days ago started getting stutter on incoming pots calls, will not connect. I can still make outgoing calls via GV.

Have tried:
restarting router, obi, phone, computer, everything
deleting and re-installing device on obi
deleting and re-installing google talk

I haven't messed with any obi settings... is it me, the device, or GV?

Thanks!

"incoming pots" usually means calls coming in on a telco line to the LINE port of the OBi110.  Is that what you mean?

If yes, your problem is very unlikely to be caused by your computer, your router, or GV.  If you plug your phone directly into your telco line are POTS calls in and out OK?

Yes - incoming landline doesn't work when plugged into obi110. It works (both in and out) when I plug directly into the phone line (bypassing obi). It had worked while plugged into obi until about 3 days ago.
