Title: 911 and diabled line on 110
Post by: sailing on November 03, 2013, 12:16:43 PM
I intend to drop my land line and use an e911 service. The 110 default is to have 911 calls go to the land line by default. If I disable the land line (PhonePort>enable uncheck), will a 911 call default to sp1 or do I need to add the 911 feature to the digimap for sp1? I will be using Voip.ms. With the PhonePort disabled, are there any other changes to the digimap that is needed?

It should work as you want.

You can test your 911 setup by dialing 933 when done.

I think that merely disabling the landline will NOT automatically cause 911 to go out on SP1.

When you configure Voip.ms on sp1 check the "Use This Service for Emergency 911 Calls" box.

If you wish to use the 933 test, then make sure that 911|933 are both in your Phone Port DigitMap (911 should already be there). Also change your OutboundCallRoute so it looks like this:

Physical Interfaces > PHONE Port > OutboundCallRoute:
{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(911|933):sp1},{(<#:>):li},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}
