Title: Suppress Pin
Post by: Lostwarriorram on April 21, 2011, 07:03:31 PM
Hello all,

I have configured my cellphone as "Trusted Caller". I have disabled AA for PSTN. When I call my GV number, the AA comes up which is expected. However its asking for pin number to make an outbound call through PSTN. I would like to suppress asking PIN number.

Also, is there a way I can disable AA for PSTN when calling from "Trusted Caller" (which is my cellphone)? I tried calling my PSTN line from non-trusted numbers. They are not answered by AA.

Thanks in advance.

You can disable the Auto Attendant PIN at:

Voice Services -> Auto Attendant -> UsePIN : (unchecked)

Just make sure InboundCallRoute's on all ports that have an 'aa' rule anywhere are qualified with trusted CallerID's such as:

{12125551212:aa},{ph}

This should ensure that only callers from those numbers get to the Auto Attendant to make outgoing calls.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try this out in next 2 days and get back to you either ways.
