Ok, so this is an unusual one. We have a business account and use a Zyxel zyxel p-873hnup-51b modem for our service. This service bonds two dsl lines together to give us a 20/2mbit line (vs our old 3mbit/768kbit dsl line). Don't ask me how they took two dsl lines and got 6.5 times the speed...and yes, it is a 20/2 line according to speedtests.
Anyhow, we plug a router into the zyxel just as we did to the old dsl. Our obi's now do not work. We never opened any ports before, and the zyxel does not block any ports. What will happen is that though the obi is online, callers can't hear us half of the time, and faxes always end up with errors and look terrible.
I can log into the zyxel and have checked that the ports are open. There is no firewall activated. Why would my 3 obi's not work?
