Title: cannot anser Google Voice incoming calls
Post by: jarrkl on March 28, 2014, 05:37:54 PM
I have been using an OBI100 with Google Voice for a long time and a problem started the past couple of days.  I haven't changed anything.  Calls to the Google Voice number ring on phones attached to the OBI100, but when you answer you just get a dial-tone even though the other extensions continue to ring.

Outbound calls through Google Voice are fine.  The OBI portal shows I'm connected to Google Voice.  There was a firmware update, which I installed, but it didn't change anything.

What do I have to do to make it so I can answer incoming calls again?

You are replying to a post from March -- and that post went nowhere.  Ignore that post.

Tell us exactly, in detail, how you set up your OBi, what model it is, did you first set up a working Google Voice phone number and set up Google Chat as a forwarding destination, does the OBi ring when your GV number is called, if so, what happens when you answer, and any other details that you think might help.
