My parents just got an obi hai box. Their set up is simple. They would like to use land line for all local calls and would like to use a sip account to call overseas.
So anytime they dial 011 it goes through the sip and the rest including 911 goes through obi hai.
Also the sip requires 00 before the country code. So when we dial 011XX it should be converted to 00xx.
Thanks for your help

I assume you have an OBi110 and the Line Port is connected to the Land Line.
Do you have a VOIP provider and is it defined on SP1?
Assuming your VOIP provider is on SP1.
All domestic calls routed to the line port.
International calls routed to SP1.
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port
Add to the beginning of the DigitMap:
011xxxxxx.S3|
It should look like this:
(011xxxxxx.S3|......Current Rules........)
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port
Add to the beginning of the OutboundCallRoute:
{(<011:00>xxxxxx.):sp1},
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> Primary Line: PSTN Line
This is the default.
Physical Interfaces -> Line Port -> DigitMap:
(xxxxxxx|1xxxxxxxxxx)
before I begin with the installation. I would like to do a factory reset. I have tried the rest from the web interface but. It does not look like it worked. Is that a different way?
Thanks
There is a hole on the bottom where you can push the reset button with a paper clip.

There is slightly more to it than just a momentary push with a paper clip. See http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=28.msg46#msg46

You are correct I am using OBi110 and the line port is connected to the land line.
I have set up a voip privider to SP1 and followed your instructions. The land line part works fine. But when I dial 011xx I get the "there is no service available to complete the call" message. Also I can not see the status of SP1&SP2. I get the following "Cannot retrieve requested information from the device now. Please try again later."
Any ideas?
Thanks

Update:
I have realize that SP1 was not set up. I have set it up but under status I see "Service Not Configures". But it looks like it is working.

I suspect that it is not working. What gives the appearance that it is?
Do you configure the OBi with OBiTalk or directly with the Web interface?
If you update the OBi with the Web interface it will show "Not Configured" in the OBiTalk Dashboard.

I use the obitalk interface. I just checked it and it now says registered. I have done a quick and dirty check before. I just unplugged the land line and dialed an international number it went through and I verified it from the call logs.
Thanks for your help.
Sorry, I misinterpreted your post: "I have realize that SP1 was not set up. I have set it up but under status I see "Service Not Configures". But it looks like it is working." I thought you meant that it wasn't working despite appearances to the contrary.
