Title: PhonePower Concurrent Incoming Calls 2
Post by: DDKW on May 01, 2014, 12:13:01 PM
Hello,

Could someone clarify about receiving 2 concurrent incoming calls on PhonePower, as advertised in the Approved Service Providers section of obitalk.com.  I have an Obi202 device.  Do I need a "cloned line" to receive 2 concurrent calls on the same number?  Or do I just select both Phone 1 and Phone 2 for SP1 in Obi's PhonePower setup process to allow 2 calls concurrently?

i want to follow this thread so here is some info
I talked to PP and was told that if u know how to set up the SIP u can implement the cloned line - they just won't do it for u and won't support it on the GV xfer.

The cloned line allows 2 ppl to use the line at the same time. That would imply u have 2 phones connected to the OBI. Unless the OBI 100 has a 2 active pairs that isn't possible (the connector has 4 connections). U need a 200 series.

I don't know if that is the same as concurrent calls - probably is.

So the ? at this point is how to set up the SIP for concurrent calls?
and
Is the 2nd line supported on the OBI 100?
