Title: Transfer in-progress call from analog to IP phone
Post by: LarryDP on May 05, 2014, 10:59:49 AM
How do I transfer an in-progress call from an analog phone on L1 to an IP phone on the LAN port?

I have an analog cordless phone attached to L1 and a Polycom IP 335 attached to the LAN port using SP2. Both are serviced through SP1 to PhonePower. I frequently get incoming calls I answer with the cordless extensions throughout the house, but then want to transfer to the IP phone to use my cordless headset.

The IP phone appears to be unaware of the call in progress on the analog phone. How do I connect it to the call?

Create a Speed Dial on the OBI that points to the IP phone like this:

sp1(anything@192.168.1.100:5060)

Answer the inbound call.
Hit Flash.
Dial the above Speed Dial number.
After the IP phone answers, hang up.

I did not try this.

It worked! Thank you very much - this will be quite useful for me.

You can also have both phones ring on an inbound call.

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute

Default is: ph
Change to:{ph,anything@192.168.1.100:5060;ui=$1}

Edit:
Modified to pass callerid.
