Title: Wrong word in forum heading
Post by: kaborka on May 16, 2014, 03:22:51 PM
There doesn't seem to be a section for forum issues, so I posted here.  In the section heading "VoIP Service Providers and Complimentary Services (OBi Relevant)", the word should be "Complementary", as these services complement the OBi product.

(Yes, nobody likes "grammar nazis"!)

If you want to keep yourself out of mischief, have a go at finding all the grammatical errors in the OBi Device Administration Guide.  :D

I noticed that also, but in a second reading of it, it does make sense. Perhaps this wasn't the intended meaning, but ITSPs are paid, and some services ARE "complimentary", including SIP accounts, free DIDs and free incoming lines, and at the moment, GV and Gchat are complimentary.

Again, maybe that's not what the author intended, but even so, the word still works and still makes sense ;). Even in the voip context.
