Title: obi202 standalone configuration -- how?

I have an obi202 which I am managing via the obitalk portal.

I want to do a few things (e.g. port forwarding) that I can't do via the portal. I have tried deleting the device and re-configuring it from its own webpage, but this lead to a bizarre situation where everything seemed to work except voicemails were not being left on my vestalink account (sp1).

Any ideas on why this happened/what I might have done wrong and how I can successfully manage the device without the portal? Links to other threads are welcome (my search-foo on this site seems really weak).
