Currently using Localphone & Circlenet for out going calls using VG1, VG2
All calls go out fine on both services.
My phone port outbound call route has this dialing rule first as my 911 access: {(<911:1415xxxxxxx>):vg1}
(where xxxxxxx is my local 911 dispatch number ) it tests fine when calling out using VG1 or VG2
Now I want to add "511" to call my local area traffic info.
So I also add this right before the "911" rule: {(<511:18885004636>):vg1}
All I get is a busy tone, with either VG's. If I dial the number directly, it connects just fine on either VG. If I replace the 511 with 311/411/611, I still get a busy tone. The only number that actually dials out is "911"
Any ideas why 511 will not dial the number I tell it to.
Did you add 511 to the Phone Port DigitMap?
The number dialed must 1st match a rule in the Phone Port DigitMap.
Edit:
If the call fails in the DigitMap you will get a busy signal.
If the call fails in the OutboudCallRoute you will get a message something like "No routes available".

Just added |511| right after the 911 and "511" now calls out
on the VG of choice. If I want to cut the dialing delay down to 0 secs, do I put
this after the 511 in the DigitMap? |511S0|
I have this at the beginning of my DigitMap. Takes care of all *11 calls.
