Title: Specific Aspect of DigitMap Not Working
Post by: threehappypenguins on June 02, 2014, 04:53:10 PM
Here is what I have in Service Providers > ITSP Profile A > General > DigitMap:

(<**2>1xxxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|<902>xxxxxxxS1|<**3>911|<**3>933|<**4>811|<**4>311|<902>5555555S3|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*#]@@.)

Where it shows <902>5555555S3, the 5555555 is my brother-in-law's cell phone number. I mainly call out of SP1 (Freephoneline) because the calls are free and unlimited. I have Anveo on SP3, and while incoming is unlimited, I avoid dialing out with it because I only have 333 minutes per month. The only exception that I want is when we dial my brother-in-law's number because his ridiculous cell phone provider (Bell) charges HIM long distance for his incoming long distance (when we call him with the FPL number it's an Ontario number, as opposed to being a local Nova Scotia number; can't get FPL Nova Scotia numbers). So rather than dial **319025555555, I put arranged the DigitMap to essentially do it for me.

All was fine and dandy for a while, but it seems like every since I switched from TheSpout (which was on SP3) to Anveo (which is on SP3), it stopped working. I don't understand what is going on.

As you say you normally use SP1 but have no "**1" in the digit map that suggests that SP1 is the Primary Line. So how is the '902' call supposed to be directed to SP3? I see nothing in the map to do that.

If you wish to dial 5555555 and have 19025555555 route out via sp3, then change this rule:

<902>5555555S3

to

<**31902>5555555S3
