Title: Suspected Faulty OBi202
Post by: TodWulff on June 23, 2014, 10:02:38 PM
I received it at no cost from someone who was done with it.

Symptoms are no dial-tone on the line ports, constant reboots - like 30s, 30s, 5 min, rinse, repeat.

Factory reset countless times and flashed 4330 and 4350 to try to reset things.  No joy.

Was able to config it during one of the 5 min cycles to use syslog, bridge mode, and set up a obiwifi access point.

Anyone see anything like this before?  Specifically the running in safe mode dialog:

There is nothing in the forums, that I could find, about an OBi device running in safe mode.

Full Syslogs available here:

Please advise.  Thanks.

Looks like you'll need to ask Obihai on this one.

/me nods.  I put in a help desk ticket yesterday.

I'll advise herein, if anything substantive comes of that effort.
