Title: How to control number of rings until voicemail?
Post by: Uncle_Wiggley on July 28, 2014, 06:58:24 AM
How do I configure my Obi 202 to go to voicemail after a certain number of rings?

I don't see that anywhere in the configuration options?

I'm fairly certain this would be a function of your VoIP provider, if it can be set at all.

I'm 100% certain.  :)

Also in the case of SIP, there is no concept of number of rings, just the length of time.

OBi devices have no voicemail. Voicemail and its controls are provided by the ITSP. (If GoogleVoice there is no control over time or rings before answer.)
