Title: LocalPhone DID Problems
Post by: OneForTheTeam on August 19, 2014, 05:40:58 AM
I currently use LocalPhone for international call routing. Since I am already their customer I also carried a backup DID for $0.99 a month as a backup to my Vestalink. It used to be good, but a few days ago the DID started giving me a fast busy. When contacted, LocalPhone ended up changing my DID. OK, I can tolerate it as it is just a backup. But now the changed DID also gets a fast busy after a few days ??? I guess this is an issue of you get what you pay for. Anyone else having this problem?

I don't use Localphone so I can't comment directly. Since this has happened twice in a row, have you considered getting a free DID (from Callcentric, IPComms, or IPKall) and forwarding it to your Localphone account via SIP URI?

I have 5 DID's from LP ( 2 US, 2 overseas, 1 i-num) and never had any problems with them. Are you forwarding Vestalink calls to your LP DID?
