Hello,
On my daughter's OBI110 in her student flat I am trying to change the web interface settings to make it more secure.
This is because in order to get it to work in the first place I had to place the OBI in a DMZ of the cable router that is supplying the internet access.
I have changed the web port to 8080 but I want to make it something a bit more obscure but it only seems to like port 80 or 8080. Likewise with the admin password I can put in a secure password, reboot the OBI and the password has reverted back to "admin".
Are there limitations on what it accepts or am I going about it incorrectly (presently via the local web interface and not OBITalk) ?
Cheers
Gavin
Hi Gavin, was the device originally configured via the OBiTALK portal or the device local web page? If it has been connected to the portal, OBiTALK will be overwriting your settings after you change them locally - see this post for more info:

If the device has been setup via OBiTALK, then changing the admin password and web port via OBiExpert under "System Management -> Device Admin" should work.
- Mark.
If you want to configure your OBi via the Web interface disable Auto Provisioning.
System Management => Auto Provisioning
Under OBiTalk Provisioning:
Method: Disabled.
If you're using GoogleVoice see:
