Title: Naming Customized AA Recordings
Post by: BruceFerjulian on September 05, 2014, 06:55:42 PM
This is for OBi110 and the current firmware.

I have uploaded a custom recording in location [ %User1% ] but using either OBiTALK or LOCAL to configure naming this setting I can't seem to get it to stick.

I uncheck the default name for the location, type in my name, click submit, reboot, and the field is reverts to BLANK.

If you configure the OBi110 via the web interface check:
System Management => Auto Provisioning

Under OBiTalk Provisioning:
Method must be Disabled.

If it's not disabled OBiTalk will overlay your changes with the default settings.

OBiTalk was disabled but I did every step again.

These are my steps, I'd include the screen-shots but can't figure how to embed them in the reply.

1. Checked "OBiTalk Provisioning", it was disabled.
2. Under the "User Prompts" the first location shows "28878 (ms)", all others are empty.
3. Uncheck the "Default" checkbox, placed the string "PERSONAL" in the "User1Description" field.
4. Click the "Submit" button and click "Yes" to the popup confirming the submit.
5. Message "Configuration Update Successful", please reboot.
6. Reboot
7. Check "User Prompts".
8. The string "PERSONAL" in "User1Description" location is gone, the "Default" checkbox is checked again.

Now that's not right is it?

I can't define a User Description for a prompt either.
Must be a firmware bug.
It's an optional parm, so it won't affect anything.
