Title: OBI WIFI + BT?
Post by: danwong on September 15, 2014, 07:16:35 AM
Hi, can the OBI 20* use both OBI-WIFI and OBI-BT?  There is only one USB port but it may be possible to plug in a USB hub and plug in both WIFI and BT adapters off the hub.  Please let me know if this is supported.

This is useful to provide additional backup in case of failures.

Yes you can do that - just plug in a USB hub and the OBi should see both devices connected to the hub.

Is that also true of OBiLINE?
Is there any combination of the three devices that cannot coexist on a USB hub?

Also, is there a minimum separation distance between OBiWiFi and OBiBT?

On the OBi1032 phone the Wi-Fi and BT adaptors plug into sockets whose centres are 2cms apart.  The imaginary line joining the centres is parallel to the long sides of the sockets.
