Title: New user obi200 user with Google Voice (GV)
Post by: NewObi200_user on October 16, 2014, 09:12:26 PM
I am a new obi200 user and followed the port tutorial to port my land line to google voice.

When I tested , everything works.

Then I started getting emails in my gmail account that I have missed calls, quite a few. Some 800 numbers but some local numbers that I don't recognize.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this or how to debug this? Don't know whether it is a GV issue or OBI issue..

Thanks..

Shale, thanks for your response.

I read this thread and checked on my google chat drop down.  I see "Try the new Hangouts", so I am still on the old chat.

I normally can dial out and receiving incoming calls when I tested GV w/ OBI200, but not sure whether I am actually missing calls as the email notifications seem to indicate.

Would any GV filtering on contacts settings induce this missed calls behavior that I am experiencing.

You can turn off the messages for missed calls in Google Voice "calls" tab if you have that checked.
