Title: How to get busy signal?
Post by: YodaTalk on November 01, 2014, 07:48:19 PM
I am using Obi with Vestalink and I ported my phone number.  If I am on the phone I want the next person who calls my number to get a busy signal is it possible for it to do that?  I don't want to use call waiting or voice mail.

If I turn Call Waiting and Voicemail off in Vestalink I get a message that says "Nobody is available to take your call at the moments...."

Thanks

You didn't say if you want to use Voice Mail at all or not. You can't have it both ways. If you do not need [or want] voice mail ever you might try turning off voice mail at Vesta Link but leave call waiting turned ON. Then disable call waiting in the Obi. This should make the Obi send a BUSY message to Vesta link if someone is on the phone. Vesta Link may then give the caller a busy signal. It may not work but it's worth a try.
