Title: Forwarding phone port.
Post by: k6kbm on May 17, 2011, 02:51:02 PM
How can I change the OutboundCallRoute of the Phone Port to forward incoming
call after 2 rings to any number using SP1, SP2, or TP1. I don't want the Line
Port to forward call when busy or no answer because when call forwarding
using GV SP1 or SP2 there is no enough time to answer the call because GV VM
pick up after 25 sec.

OutboundCallRoute:

{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(<#:>|911):li},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1
},{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}

You can't do it from the OutboundCallRoute.

I've read your post several times, but I can't figure out exactly which trunk(s) you want to forward and which trunk(s) you want to use for that forwarding.

Most likely you will want to use:

(trunk) -> CallForwardOnNoAnswerEnable : (checked)
(trunk) -> CallForwardOnNoAnswerNumber : TG1(1XXXXXXXXXX)
(trunk) -> CallForwardOnNoAnswerRingCount : 2

for each trunk you wish to forward and it will use SP1,SP2 for the forwarding.

Please clarify.

*62 + number + # will enable CallForwardOnNoAnswer on ALL trunks and *63 will disable it.

Sorry for the confusion. What i'm trying to do is to forward a call from phone port instead of the line port because forwarding from line port thru SPx via GV is to short to answer (one ring only) from the receiving number. thanks

You cannot forward calls from the PHONE Port.  You can only forward calls from:

SP1 Service
SP2 Service
OBiTALK Service
LINE Port
