I've recently switched from Comcast to U-Verse (Arris NVG589 router) and seem to have lost the use of my Obi110. The device always times out when I try to add it (having deleted the original entry from my account as an attempt to get it to reconnect). I've added the following NAT rules to the firewall as well as double checked the internal ip address. I'm at a complete loss and wonder if anybody has any other trouble shooting ideas.
Thanks

I think that port forwarding has no effect on success or failure of the **5 registration process. But the DNS is critical.
Are you manually entering the IP address settings on the OBi or letting it get them by DHCP? If the former are you sure you are setting the correct ones for gateway and DNS? Not all routers have the same default values.
Thanks. Turns out that I'm totally an idiot. It is a static IP. When I switched routers the subnet stayed the same but the gateway changed from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254. Either I didn't know or didn't remember that there was a UI on the Obi but as soon as I got on there I had a quality face palm moment. Everything seems to be happy now.
I'm using a 202 on the same router, with NO port forwards. You may not need them. FWIW
