So, I've setup Anveo E911 w/ our new OBi202 about a month ago and been testing our Anveo E911 system by dialing 933. Normally, a man's voice comes on and announces the 911 test and then proceeds with prompts through a couple of tests - specifically an announcement of our saved address is made and a voice/audio test is done.
Today I get a woman's voice announcing our saved address only.
We saw this behavior with a buddy's OBi100 in December. On his end, he raised a trouble ticket with Anveo, but they blew him off and said there is "nothing to fix on their <Anveo> end". Within a day or so, the normal 911 test (with the man's voice) came back.
Any ideas here?
Well, there is nothing in an OBi that knows your address, so you don't need three guesses as to where the announcement is coming from. :)
I ran into the same issue a couple of months ago, but they worked it out. My test is normal today. Maybe you will be OK if you run the test again.
