Title: Simultaneous ring on two OBI devices (non Google Voice)
Post by: Isindim on March 17, 2015, 02:08:10 PM
I have an OBI200 and an OBI1032 that are both linked to the same number (via freephoneline).  How can I configure these to both ring on an incoming call?  I can do this for Google Voice (on the second line) but don't see how to do this for the regular number.  Both phones are connected and can make out-going calls, no problem.

Thanks!

Isindim,

I have not tested the following using freephoneline or with a OBi1032.
I have a "fork" that works to send calls ringing SP4 on a OBi200 to my OBi100.

If the calls (via freephoneline) are ringing a phone on the OBi200, you might try a fork on the OBi200 Voice Service SP Port that you have provisioned for "freephoneline".  If you are using OBiTalk, you would use OBiTalk "Expert Mode" to configure the fork.

    Voice Services  >  SP#  >
   X_InboundCallRoute        {ph,pp(512345678)}
         --OR--
   X_InboundCallRoute        {>234567:ph,pp(512345678)}

Where "pp(512345678)"  is the OBi Number of the OBi1032.

If the calls rings the OBi1032 instead of the OBi200, you may be able to do the same type of "fork" on the OBi1032.

Thanks very much, BigJim!  Your first option for the X_InboundCallRoute solved it.
