Title: OBi200 and 2-Line Phone
Post by: scottkeen on April 21, 2015, 07:35:45 PM
I have 2 VOIP providers, and was intending to use 1 per phone line on my 2-Line phone.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought the OBi200 could handle a 2-Line phone using 1 phone jack. The usual 2-Line phone setup is red/green wires for Line 1 and black/yellow wires for Line 2.

Does the OBi200 not do this? Am I going to have to get an OBi202 to use with my 2-Line phone?

Look at the OBi200 as a one line device but you can configure 4 different service providers to all go into that one line...but only one at a time of course. What you need is the OBi202 if you want to use two lines concurrently.

You can use an old ATA or smartphone as a 2nd line on your OBi200.
