Title: Can I link OBi devices across 2 separate accounts?
Post by: aznem on April 28, 2015, 09:17:42 AM
Hello,

I have an OBi1032 IP Phone. My friend also has the same device. We want to set them up to work together w/ each device having its own extension for transferring calls, etc. I see the portal allows this within an individual account but can the devices be linked across two separate accounts or do we need to create a single account for the devices?

Keeping separate accounts is preferred.

Thank you!

You can call any OBi device by using its OBi number.
Dial **9 followed by the OBi number.

You can also setup a speed dial like this:
pp(610xxxxxx)

Change 610xxxxxx to the target OBi number.

To transfer a call:

IP Phone -> Programmable Keys -> Key 7
Function: Transfer
Service: OBiTalk
Number: 610123456

User Settings -> Speed Dials -> Speed Dial#4: pp(610123456)

Change 610123456 to the OBi number of the other OBi1032

After answering a call
Press program key 7
After the other OBi1032 answers, press Transfer Now and hang up

If you don't want to use a program key
Press Transfer
Dial 4#
After the other OBi1032 answers, press Transfer Now and hang up
