SPAM calls originating from Signing up for CallCentric..? or from listyourself ?

Ive got and had a few GV #'s for AGES....

Then I got some CCentric #'s and did the whole forward GV to the CC # so I can get CNAME....

But at the same time I have listed all #'s through listyourself....

now I get all kinds of JUNK Spam type calls (BUT these are only on 2 lines)...(out of 4)...

Anyone see this happen to them from either listyourself or callcentric ?

I kind of believe it is from listyouself (LOL I Listed names like Wile E Coyote and Taz.. Devil (haha) and Example... one GV # I have I listed, Ill see calls come in from "702" area code on that #.. (I really believe it is someone harvesting LISTYOURSELF info... Anyone have same or similar things happen ?

I think you answered your own question.

Unfortunately, using the ListYourself.net service puts your name and number in the telephone directory. The directory is one of the sources that telemarketers use to get a list of people to call. You put your information in the directory so that people who are of interest to you can find you, such as customers looking for what your business sells. But also callers who are looking to sell you stuff can find you as well.

Funny thing is I guess they wanna sell to Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil and Wile E Coyote Must be a ACME Kit or some carrots I guess, although one was a alarm system, prolly for Roadrunner to protect himself from Wile E Coyote I guess. Thos are the names in listyourself

They get the numbers not necessarily the names and just dump the data into dialers.
