After having a successful number porting from Vonage to GV and setup of the ObiTalk device, I am a bit puzzled on how to make an international call.

I have a cordless phone connected to the Obi200 device and unable to make international calls. Yes, I have added credit to my GV account. Basically I don't know how to dial an number (011 or *** ???)

1. Works fine from iPhone : Install "Google Hangouts" and dial international in the format "+44 882 98029"  (+ can be entered by holding the "0" for a second") Works perfectly.

2. on Cordless phone connected to Obi200 tried :
          a. 678 777 8888                 --> US number, works fine
          b. 011 44 882 98029           --> doesn't work and blank sound, no ring or failure
          b. + 44 882 98029              --> Can't type a +

HELP! .   How do I make an international call from cordless phone connected to Obi200 ?

Are you sure that 088298029 is a valid UK number?

I picked a random number to create this post. Here is a valid number for a pizza hut in London, but don't know how to dial this ?  HELP!

I would have expected the 011 44 1234567890 format to work.  Countries not using the NANP tend to use 00 as the international prefix ie 00 44 1234567890.

Check what number the OBi is actually sending to GV after its dial plan manglings.  Log in to its local interface, click on 'Status' and then 'Call History' and look in the right-most column.

Thanks for the inputs. Using the dialing format below worked.
