Google Voice Connection Issue (Connecting to 209.85.175.125)

Hi there,

I am trying to set-up an Obi110 for my family. The obi110 itself connects to the Obi network as well as a sip service provider (callwithus). However, it is unable to connect to GV and I keep getting the message "Connecting to 209.85.175.125".

I am using Google DNS and google voice / gtalk works fine from my computer which uses the same router as my Obi.

I just don't understand why the Obi cannot connect to GV. Anyone facing similar issues? Any advice as to what I could do?

I am also facing the exact same issue although a different IP...."Connecting to 125.225.85.209"

I am also using Google DNS. Kindly advice.

125.225.85.209 is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Change your DNS server.

I have tried different DNS providers, but I still occasionally get this error.

I have tried several DNS servers(including Google DNS) and though it changed the connecting to ip address, it did not solve the problem.

Any ideas please?

Anyone? This connection issue is getting a bit bothersome for me. Any advice would be highly appreciated!
