Question 1: Can Obi110 be connected directly to a modem without a router? DSL modem > Obi110 > Phone.

Question 2: Can the Obi110 be connected behind an ooma hub? DSL modem > ooma hub > Obi110 > Phone

There is no computer involved in these setups. PPP is located on the modem.

ooma > OBi110 line port. OBi would need to be connected to the internet somehow in order to use its features. An inexpensive router/switch would bring it all together for you. You would have ooma+OBi features.

For sure
