Simon Telephonics Google Voice Gateway Down...

The Simon Telephonics Google Voice Gateway had a network outage today. On my Obi110 I use the gateway on SP1. I use SP2 for a Localphone DID and international calls. I found SP1 to fail registration as well as SP2 for Localphone. A look on the Simon Telephonics Blog they are back up, but still no registration for SP1. SP2 has sip credentals for Localphone and still fails registration.

SP2 Service Status > Status:    Register Failed: No Response From Server                                                 (server=94.75.247.45:5060; retry in 14s)

Even with registration failure on SP2, I still can use my Voice Gateways. I also have a Cisco SPA941 sip phone registered with Simon Telephonics GV Gateways (4 Lines) and that works ok.

I have since changed SP1 to connect with GV Chat and this is ok.
Has anyone had this problem with the Simon GV Gateways?

A journeyman electrician sent his apprentice with a 5-gallon bucket and was told to put the ends of the service drop in the bucket and fill it with volts. He was there all day.

I fixed the LOcalphone part of this problem.

I had to add...
Service Providers > ITSP Profile B > SIP > RegistarServer: localphone.com

The odd thing is that it registered fine before without adding the RegistarServer but now Localphone registers.

All I have to do now is figure out why Simon Telephonics GV Gateway will not register on the OBi110 although it works fine on my SPA941 IP Phone and my PAP2T. I did have gvgw1.simonics.com set as ProxyServer, RegistarServer and OutboundProxy.

I put SP1 back to Simon Telephonics like I originally had it and now it works. I'll have to scratch my head on that one.

Yes, you have me puzzled too. ???

But... at least you're back up and running!  :D

All this happened the same day I replaced my Comcast modem with a new DocSis 3.0 modem. I knew it didn't have anything to do with it, but it had me wondering.
